Default Standard Cab 8' Bed VS. Extended Cab Short Bed Suspension

Alright, I was curious if anyone knows what the difference in suspension is between a 2015-2020 8' bed standard cab and an extended cab short bed suspension is. I have the ability to snag a pretty good deal on a full coil-over set. It's a Belltech 1001SP. It's designed for a short bed EXT cab. My rig is a standard cab long bed. If it's a sping rate or shock issue, I can deal with that. If it's an engineering issue, is it worth my time to retrofit??? The savings is about $500.

I’d start with a search on autotrader for a couple of vin numbers of vehicles I am wanting to compare.

then I’d go find a site like valley ford and search the parts desired by vin and compare.

the big difference is going to be in what their GVWR is and does it match.
