Loud screech when reversing slowly.
Whenever I put my 2012 Screw in reverse I get loud screeching and grinding it sounds like but only when I go in reverse I hear this noise, like backing out of a parking spot and I'm slightly on the breaks.
Anyone got any ideas supposedly ford says I'm fine my breaks look good still some on them, and I've only got 15,000 miles on my truck. Anyone got solutions or tips

Almost all disc brakes develop a wear pattern in the forward direction and operate with aprox. 7 pounds of constant pressure on the disc. When you back up the leading edge of the pad chatters on the rotor, from dirt or brake dust, setting off the screeching noise. There are many aftermarket products that can be applied to the back side of the pad that helps silence this chatter. Permatex makes a gel that's easy to apply but you have to disassemble the brakes to use it. My wife's 08 Camry makes the same noise occasionally so I just hose off the inside of the wheel and it stops for a few days. It's a pain to fix which is why I haven't done hers yet. Good luck
