F150 leveled 275/70/18 MPG?
I hope someone out in the f150 world can help me. My current set up is as follows.
2010 f150
crewcab
4x4
5.4L
3.55 Gear ratio
Stock tire 275-65-18
without leveling kit
I would like to level out the front and upgrade to 275-70-18 bfg's t/a ko's.
Only problem is, I'm having a hard time pulling the trigger without a heads up on the fuel economy of this make/model/setup. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I may change you fuel economy slightly but nothing that should prevent you from doing your mods. From what I have found with looking through this forum and online that it may change your mpg by maybe a mpg but nothing that will break the bank

I have a levelling kit and nothing changed as far as the fuel mileage goes, and I am putting the same tires on that you are and it may change slightly like I said

something to remember... when you go with larger tires it throws your speedo off so you are actually going faster than it reads so the odometer/trip maker is off too. so when you see someone say they lost 1-2 mpg's, that might be on the high side of accurate since their odometer/trip maker is showing less miles to the tank than they actually drove assuming they didn't re-calibrate the speedo

I got a leveling and block kit for my 2011 ecoboost and put 285s on it. I went from getting 18 to 21 mpg's down to 15 to 17. I've been to two dealers and neither would recalibrate it for the larger tires. The truck doesn't struggle but the fuel economy suffers more than I had expected because the truck is kind of staying in "boost" or whatever. I've done the same thing with 2 other trucks and the most I ever lost was 2 mpg's.
I'm not going to buy a tuner to recalibrate because I don't want some a hole at the dealer to tell me I voided my warranty if I have an issue

you can manually figure out your actual miles but it's a little more difficult. if you have 255/70/17's and went up to 285/70/17's for every 56.97 miles your odometer reads, you went 60 miles... so you take 56.97 divided by your mileage times 60 and that's how many miles you went... not sure of your original tire size or your current tire size (since the first number is width). but you can play around with this
