Yep, is up to you if you are happy with a oz. of oil/water every couple hundred miles. Of course multiply that by a million F150's and U get a real number and U get 500 quarts of it on the road.

If the CAC is oversize, why is it the race guys say "here put on this larger CAC and you will eliminate the issues caused by the small CAC" ?

On the first gen, would the VTA mod help take care of the condensation issue? If you could put up with the noise that is.

The CAC Ford installed is not oversized if the tuck is used as intended. However most people buy more engine and capability than they will ever use.

Yep. If you beat the crap out of it most all the time that generation is excellent. I have tow haul and Sport tunes in my 16 an it loves mountains an long steep hills. Seldom run the standard tune but loves 93 octane 2.

I don't beat it but I did another adrenaline rush WOT run uphill again today rolling about 10mph to about 90 mph and not one spit or sputter. I doubt I have any engine related issues. The tach spun to over 6K a couple times. Wasn't really watching the dash much but might have even went to 7K. Sounded mean as hell, in a V6 kind of way LOL.

If you don't pull a boat or a small trailer just put the License in front of the opening, it will most likely code rich if you need to pull it off. It will slow down the air and stop a lot of condensation in the Cac for another day of draining.
