F150 first vehicle?

I've grown up around trucks and I do a lot of work outside and I like to go off-roading, nothing serious just donuts in a field or hit a mud hole. That is why I'm torn between a jeep and an f150. What are pros and cons of a f150 as a first vehicle?

I'll vote F-150. pros - safe, practical, much more roomy and comfortable, very reliable, let me restate practical - I don't know what I'd do without my truck box. et cetera.

cons, will be a bit harder on gas, and not as suited to off road as a jeep. but they can still hold their own. the jeep will fit down narrower trails etc. that's about it.

of course this is an f-150 forum, so you'll get at least mostly f-150 lol

Pro - Cargo space.

I see a lot of modded jeeps running around if your serious about the offroading and don't need to haul stuff I'd go Jeep but that's me.

My first vehicle was a beat up old car. :)

yeah I'm not into serious off-roading haha, I've been thinking jeep then like having friends in the car and hauling my dirtbike and stuff there's just no room in a jeep

yeah man jeeps might be fun off road but just not practical. the way I see it is I'm not doing serious off roading in any road vehicle anyway, and it's a lot easier to load up my quad than try to haul stuff without a truck. I've been there. my truck goes anywhere I need or want her to go, my quad goes where she can't and shouldn't. and she hauls what I need her to. and tons of room and extreme comfort to go with it.

thanks that's the only reason why I chose f150s I grew up around them and I think they are all around the nicest trucks. The ram gets like 8mpg haha thanks for the advice

Jeeps rollover too easy, even end over end.........don't ask me how I know....lol.

Get a real truck with longer wheelbase and wider stance.

My first vehicle is a 2011 F-150, NEVER regret it.
