hey guys. May be a dumb question. But I have a 2018 F150 lariat. I’ve read places that to activate the alarm you have to press the lock button twice on the key fob. Will pressing it once not arm the alarm? What about just pressing the lock button on the door handle when getting out of truck? Thanks!!

I don’t have the shock sensors. Just the permiter sensor and the interior sensors.

Yeah I have. It says if you just press he button on the handle it should arm. Even when leaving the truck it says all sensors. I rolled the window down and pressed lock on the door. Waited about a minute and went and stuck my hand through the window and waved it around and nothing happened. I thought the j terror sensors should go off? Does it matter that I had the key fob In my pocket? Will that deactivate it or something? Thanks for your help
