Definitely true, particularly after the whole Chrysler/GM bailout, many right-wings took a second look at Ford. Obviously the F-series is a great line of trucks, so there ya go.

Now I'm not saying that conservatives are more "manly," (although that's typically been my experience), I'm only saying there is a slight political basis for why more conservatives would choose Ford.

I dont think there is a correlation between being manly and conservative either. Seems like a pretty dumb stereotype.

I dont see any correlation between the two either. My brother in law drives a prius and is a hardcore republican. Its called using your head. Why drive something that gets 18 mpg when you can drive something that can get 50 mpg when you work 40 miles from home.

In before the moderators close the thread!

There are smart people (conservatives) and idiots (liberals) alike that drive all types of cars.

Was funny though, when I got my F150, my father in law, a hardcore GM fan, said only Republicans bought F150s, as if it was some type of cut down. I said I know, and remember, this Republican has been able to support your daughter for 15 years.

I have these business card I leave on cars and trucks with Obama stickers on them that say "I thought you should know that some jerk put an Obama sticker on your vehicle, because I know the last thing you want to do is drive around looking like am idiot who would actually vote for Obama a second time."
