Still a bit disappointed in mileage but not disappointed in the motor performance. Though it does sound like a Camry sitting there at idle.....
60-70mph is almost alway the sweet spot for mpgs.

I just bought mine a couple days ago and have done about 85% city driving. I've been easy on the throttle and with 200 miles the gauge says 17mpg. It said 9 when I drove it off the lot. It's been fun watching it go up everytime I take it out.

On a side note my wife just took it out for the first time and it went down by .3mpg. What's up with that? I always thought she was a fast woman.

EcoBoost is just socialism coddling the claim that oil is actually peaking and declining, globally, like it supposedly did in America 42 years ago. You know, all that M. King Hubbert nonsense and fake flow-rate graphs. Enviro-regs are what really put the clamp on U.S. oil. There's a trillion barrels under Yellowstone alone. Too bad it's protected land for all those nasty wolves.

If Romney gets in we could see gas prices drop to $2.50 because kerogen shale will explode once the drilling regs are removed. EROEI is just another greenie myth. Oil is abiotic so it can't really peak. Edukate yourselves, people.

I got my Ecoboost Lariat 4x4 a few days ago too. So far I only have 120 miles on it, my average mgp is only 13.4 so far, it started at 4.5 when I picked it up. But yes it is fun watching the average mpg go up each time I take it out. I've been doing about 50/50 city and highway driving.

It may never, unless you let the EPA drive the truck in their unrealistic conditions??
