Default Extended Warranty Question - 2016 3.6L Ecoboost

Hi all! I have a 2016 Ecoboost with 49500 miles. I bought it last year with 36,000 miles as a pre-owned ford certified. Do I have any options to get an extended warranty through Ford? I’ve tried calling my dealership but they won’t even call me back after leaving voicemails. They have sucked since the beginning. Thank you in advance for the help

I think you may be out of luck. You are past the 36k original bumper to bumper warranty. But you can check with either Ziegler Ford or Flood Ford, via the internet, to find out the exact parameters needed to get a Ford ESP plan from them.

If you have CPO the powertrain is covered 7 years or 100,000 miles. Paying for any additional warranty is a waste of money.

As long as you are under the 12,000 mile/12 month part of the CPO you can still purchase. You are welcome to give me a call.

According to Zeigler's website you can, but the vehicle will have to pass Ford's used vehicle inspection process and anything wrong has to be remedied before the warranty will be issued.

An inspection(can be expensive) is not required if you are still under the 12/12 CPO. If you are outside of the 12/12 CPO then you need the inspection and you have to buy a "Used Vehicle Plan". Those plans are much more expensive and the times/mileages are shorter.

I now have 2 vehicles with the extended warranty thanks to Flood Ford.
