Default Expensive Ford Warranty Doesn't Cover ANYTHING from 3-5 years? Seriously?

I used mine when my truck had 1,000 miles on it. The dealership argued that I wouldn't get the free rental. One call to the warranty rep and the dealership drove me to the rental company for my free loaner. I don't think all the shop guys actually understand the warranty.

Keep in mind, to get the rental under ESP, you need to purchase that option.

Awesome to hear that from someone who has actually experienced something similar, my67falcon, thanks! Sounds like I might just have to train a service rep or two but it'll work out!

But ARGH! Took my truck in on Thursday for the electronic parking brake issue and the earliest I'm getting it back now will be Monday. And in the electronic parking brake thread, no one there has responded that the dealer has actually permanently fixed the issue. Dayum, do you know how difficult it is to drive the wife's Accord after driving around in my new truck for a couple months?! LOL Suffering from 2015 F150 Truck withdrawls here!

They must include it automatically when you buy the premium care esp, I opted to not select the rental option on both vehicles and it gave it to me any way.

Its standard with the Premium ESP........However, the standard doesn't include FIRST day rental.
In other words, the only way you're supposed to get a rental is if your truck/car is going to have to be kept overnight.

the FIRST day rental is a $35 option, and it's supposed to mean that you get a rental when you drop off your car 1st day.

Why would anyone need a rental if that was not the case?

I didn't write the contact provisions! LOL

NOTE: You will still have up to 10 days of rental

reimbursement benefits under your coverage if you

elect not to add the Drop Off First Day Rental feature,

but it will only become effective if your vehicle has to be

kept overnight to complete a covered repair or if your

vehicle is determined to be inoperable at the time it is

left for service or if further driving would cause damage

or render it inoperable and so it must be kept

overnight.

First-Day Rental provides a rental vehicle up to $30 per

day (up to $45 for Lincoln vehicles) on the FIRST DAY the

vehicle is dropped off for an ESP or warranty covered

repair.

Best of all, the vehicle is not required to be

inoperable overnight to receive the first day rental

Don't need to read it, I already know how my ESP works. If you didn't get the premium care esp then it's likely you had to pay, the premium care esp however is top tier. All inclusive.
