EPA MPG vs real world MPG clarified
#201
Im at a loss on my 2015 2.7 Eco, around town on all kinds of roads my first tank I got 21.5 mpg second tank it went up to 22.5,just took a trip to New York from Ohio all freeway and it went down to 19 MPG,we did the math ourselves and it was the same as what the computer in the truck figured, never had something that got worse mpg on the freeway then around town,Really hoping this changes after more miles are on the truck.

Also, on a side note, is there really a difference with a tonneau cover?

2015 5.0
I have a 2015 supercrew, 5.5ft bed. It has the 5.0 engine. I have checked mine both with the computer and by hand calculation, they are very close. At last check I was at 18.6 in town driving, and I got 22.8 on a trip to Columbia, s.c. it is an XLT and has the 3.31 e-locker. I am very happy with those numbers. This is my daily driver.
BTW, Happy New year to everyone.

2015 3.5 EcoBoost mpg
Well.. for the 2015 ecoboost 3.5, the city gas millage that is listed is generous to say the least. Living in rural areas, I was getting an average of 21MPG and 23MPG when I had stock tires, so I was getting the listed MPG. Having moved to the city I have noticed that my MPG is around 13. So I couldn't get 17MPG in the city if someone was pushing me at the line. Another issue may be this is my first winter with the ecoboost, and I have heard that these engines do not like the cold weather. But I didn't buy the truck for mpg, just thought I would share my MPG experiences.
