Im presently working in Ft Simpson NWT, I ended up with a slow leak in the tire, took it in to a contracting shop to get the tire repaired. (not a mechanical garage as there is not one up here) Shortly after the repair, traveling down the highway, the Engine Malfunction light came on and placed the truck into safe mode. I pulled over shut down and restarted. the light went out and the truck acted normal. This has occurred about 4 times now over the last week. I have a code reader and there has been no codes thrown. I even tried reading codes when it occurred this am, again no codes. The manual identifies that the engine malfunction light will come on as a result of abs, transmission, or drive line damage. I have done visual inspections and can not identify any issues. Any advice would be great as when I do travel out, its about 13 hours drive time to the nearest ford dealership, and no cell coverage for the first 4 hours.
