Ok. I will try to keep my emotions to a minimum. I have a 2017 150 platinum. A certain soon to be ex wife has one of the key fobs and I lost the other. What I want to do is eliminate intelligent access. I have a tendency to forget to turn truck off. What parts will I need to remove or manipulate? Is there instructions anywhere posted? My second option would be to just eliminate the existing key fob code and create a new one or install aftermarket keyless. entry. Due to my marital and subsequent employment status i am broke as u can get. I'm getting loans for ramen noodles here and can't go to work without my truck.. please help a ford bro out!!

NOTE: I DO HAVE THE METAL KEY FROM INSIDE THE FOB

I forsee public transit in your near future. I went down the divorce road my self many years ago and it was bumpy as hell. The only thing you can do is erase and reprogram new fobs/keys with Forscan, the software is free but your going to spend $$ on the new fob/keys and an adapter pass thru cable to go between the truck and a Windows laptop/tablet.

See the Forscan thread in your year model section for info on the software. All of which is null and void if you can't get that 1 key/fob back as the truck has to be on to program it.

Im sure there is a fuse you could pull to immobilize the truck, then pop it in when you need to drive it. Otherwise Forscan will be your best option to erase all keys and program some new ones.

I think reprogramming would be the best option but those fobs are expensive. This sounds like a troll to me though lol.

Your only options have been presented, use them or not, it's your truck you say. If it was my truck I'd do what ever it took to get use of it. No money? Tough luck, there is no magic fix.
