Default EMERGENCY! 08 will not start after unhooking battery and fuse box!

I was doing car audio work on my truck today (like I have been every day for weeks) and after done with todays tasks, I went to start my truck and it will not start.

Here is what was done today:

1. Unhook negative battery cable.
2. Unhook main ground wire to fuse box.
3. Unplug a total of 5 harnesses from the fuse box, ALL of which were unique.

Thats it! Everything is now CORREECTLY hooked back up.....

But....

WHen I try to start the truck....it keeps turning and turning and turning over, but it sounds as if it is not getting fuel.

I checked the fuse for the fuel pump and it is good....no issues.

It was too dark to try anything else and I was parked at my friends house and he and his wife wanted to leave to go to VDay dinner. Understandably.

There are NO error lights showing on the dash. All lights, windows, power door locks..etc. work properly.

What could be wrong. I going to do a search now but I am in PANIC mode. My truck is parked in a not so friendly neighborhood with thousands of dollars worth of audio equipment sitting out in the wide open (in the truck but easily viewable).

ANY help or suggestions you could offer would be great.

Thank you,
Kevin

I dont have my truck at the moment and I dont hafve the Owners Manual with me.

How do I understand which one is the fuel pump reset? I unplugged five harnesses. Two facing the passenger seat and three between the back of the fuse box and the passenger side wall (interior).

I have pictures to share...but I do not have my download cable.

Grrrrrr..

What a predicament and a mess.

It is here.....

Try and re-set it to see that helps.

Could I ask what you were hooking into the fuse box audio wise?

You mean the big orange button in the pic?

I am not hooking anything into the fuse box. I had to move it out of the way (temporarily) to drill a hole in the side wall.

So tell me what the fuel pump reset has to do with this situation. meaning...do I need to reset it? Or are you asking if I accidentally reset it?

I was working around that orange button, but I did nto mess with it. I coudl have touched it...

I was just inquiring how much you unplugged/wired into there hoping you did not damage that setup.

As for using it...why not.. If something happened while moving it all around, a reset might be needed. I do not know

You see....I have no idea what that button does. It seems you are saying it is a fuel pump reset. I did not know such thing existed. Bear with me here.

So what is a fuel pump reset...I mean obviously for resetting the fuel pump. But what does that really do?

I am fairly certain with my moving of things that I didnt damage anything. I could have blown a fuse with the positive battery cable still hooked up...and me messing around with the fuse box ground wire.

So if I push the orange button...it will reset the fuel pump?

It's actual purpose is to re-set the fuel pump after an accident. People have used it for "security" mods as well. There have been instances where people who have removed the fuse box and "bumped" it causing it to think an accident has occurred. That is why it popped into my head.
