Default Which emblem? Recommendations wanted.

I'm looking at getting some overlays made for my Ford tail gate emblem. I'm looking at silver with black lettering or black with silver lettering. I'm having a hard time deciding lol. Which one do you think would look best on my truck?

I'm in the same predicament. I'm probably going to go with the silver with black lettering. Mine is an 03, but same color. Moody Blue does the work for those, but its a waiting list and a half.

I'm leaning towards the silver but just want to make sure I pick the one that looks best. I'm using a guy from a site called Glass Elephant. I got his contact info from another thread on here. He told me he had a 3-4 day turnaround time. I get two emblem overlays and a steering wheel overlay for $46 shipped. Just gotta make a decision lol. I know il have to paint or plasti dip the chrome part of the emblem black if I go silver with black lettering.

Yeah, my only concern is how ths silver will look against a black grill. It may be the reason I change my mind from silver to black.

Since the truck is silver with black bed decals, I saw go silver with black letters. One compliments the other.

BTW, Glass Elephant Designs is Moody Blue. He does a heck of a good job. Just got mine in the mail, and I am extremely happy with the outcome. Now if the weather would just cooperate.

Might I suggest one of each. No rule that says you can't do that. Just thinking out loud.

Point made, and I've thought about it. I've still got time, so it does give me something to think about

I think silver against a black grill would look nice. It would definitely pop for sure. If you want more of a stealth look, black would be the way to go. I have an aftermarket grill and may be getting a ford inlay made for it instead of an emblem.

And thanks everyone for the feedback so far!

Indeed. in your case, I would go silver w/ black lettering. The truck is setup to make that work well with the emblems and such.

I picked up an expedition grill assembly for $30, and it worked quite well. Not to highjack your thread or anything, but I curious to what you guys would do in my situation. Silver with black lettering, or vice versa?
