Electrical Problem after Pulling Head - 2001 F150
Electrical Problem after Pulling Head
I had both manifolds replaced and they had to pull the head to do it.
Seems like an electrical problem was introduced when they put it back together.
About a week after getting the truck back, battery was too weak to start the truck. I jumped it and it started fine. Today, I jumped it and it started fine, ran for a few seconds and then died, like I turned the key off. Now turning the key has no effect - no dash lights, courtesy lights, sounds, … nothing, even with the jump pack connected.
The mechanic said after the manifold replacement that the wiring was the toughest part of the job. Wondering if something was connected wrong.
Also, not sure if it is related, but the truck has a remote start installed (although never used).
Any help appreciated.
