Suggestions for removing overspray from fence staining?
Hello everyone, long time ranger owner here, just stepped it up and purchased a Black 01 F150. The truck has ALOT of overspray from the previous owners fence staining project gone wrong. The paint feels rough to the touch and it looks like its dirty (brown stain).
I've read that using a clay bar will remove this? I figured this weekend I would try a couple of methods. Clay bar, Goo gone etc. Anyone ever had this happen and found a way to remove this stuff? Not sure if it would be the same as removing paint overspray or not... I thought I would ask for some suggestions before I started trying to get it off, maybe save myself some elbow work.

I removed some overspray from my wife's car with claybar. If it is really bad, multiple cycles will be likely.
After you claybar, don't forget to wax the truck.

Alright! Claybar took it right off with minimal effort. I was surprised because the overspray was thick. I only tested it in a few small spots but on those spots its as smooth as glass now and ready for some wax.
