So I hop into my truck this morning to go to school and my edge evolution Has been stolen Dash pod and all. They left the chord though. They took nothing else out of my truck, I had a ton of change in the ash tray and $7 cash in my center console. And they only took the edge. My truck was locked and I'm 100% positive it was. I'm pissed. My question is how can you break in to a truck with out smashing the window or picking the lock???? because if I unlock my truck with my key in the hole and not my key fob, my alarm will go off and I didn't last night!

Did you have your stock setting programmed into the truck by any chance? Not to make the matter worse, but I'm not 100% sure on how that works with the programming since when you load a tune the edge unit stores the stock tune in it =s

And I live in the lowest crime area ever! And even in a gated neighborhood. I'm pissed.

No I had a custom tune in it. And no the windows weren't smashed and I know my truck was locked because I went to get my backpack out last night around 7 and I was there and I know I locked my truck after I got it out.

that unit wont even work with another truck since its registered to your vin...I hate theives...

check your alarm to make sure it still works? forgot to set the alarm last night? roomates that know where your keys are? windows a hair open? or, a really good thief.

someone knew what they wanted though thats for sure. did you have a tune loaded on your truck? if so your prob gonna have to bring it to ford to get a pcm reset if you go buy a new edge. edge may be able to help, but without the original ford tune and hex code, theres not much they can do.
