I have posted under 7 other threads. This one is the most interesting as I watch the eco-boosters/defenders who are willing to debate anything as long as it is not reality or the facts. About half of those still need to move out of their Mom's house while they justify spending extra money to haul a boat they don't even have. Right DJ? This is an example of someone (and there are many more) who spend all day posting and I wonder "Do you work?" Probably not as many take a light load of community college classes. I don't mean any offense and once again offense to the truth will be taken.

My vote is no. The eco-diesel is a real diesel engine and the hemi is gas. They are different so there really shouldn't be any debate.

In the case of the eco the turbos and engineering are looking for what I call a Home Depot approach. They don't sell just hardware store stuff with lumber. They also have a large appliance department, lawn mowers, solar energy sales and for awhile had people in the stores hawking home loans. In other words, Ford should quit selling eb as an everyone's everything. Turbos are not the answer to saving gas and they generate so much heat I don't see trying to haul heavy with them either. I am sure there is a market for eb, but not my first choice.

Let's do a skit:

eb: Hi 5.0. Did you know I am faster than you?
5.0: Yep, a little bit, but make sure you get a good launch, because you need it.

eb: Well I get better gas mileage.
5.0 It mostly depends on how you drive and a lot of people are debating that.

eb: I can haul more weight than you can.
5.0 So they say. I wonder how long you can do that though?

eb: I am going to be more reliable too because I have heavy duty parts.
5.0 :whistling2:
