Default Ecoboost and LPG

Hello everyone, I’m new here.

I’m in love with the F150 and I want buy one. I like the 3.5 ecoboost quite a lot. Although I live in Europe and I need to convert to LPG.
I was at a car dealer the other day, and he said the 3.5 ecoboost has huge problems running on LPG. Because it is turbo charged, and things don't work well with that engine and LPG. Something about durability.
Can you help understand what’s that about?

Thanks,
George

I don't think I've ever heard of anyone converting the 3.5 ecoboost to run LPG.

This article talks about the base V6 and 5.0 conversion, but not ecoboost: https://www.autoblog.com/2015/05/05/...g-conversions/

Ford offers a LPG kit from the factory, so I doubt there is any true problems with it. You just dont see a lot of people converting them like your did 10-20 years ago when propane was pennies on the dollar cheaper than gas or diesel.

Yep, youre right. I remember seeing the option when I built my truck, but I never selected it to see that it forces you to choose the 5L.

I'm newer to this forum so I'm not sure if "bumping" an old post is against the rules. Please let me know if it is and I won't do it again.

After some consideration, I think I am going to go take a look at it. I've noticed that there are a lot more people that have good things to say about the Ecoboost engine than bad. Sure, I may have some problems with it, but as long as it doesn't cost a fortune to fix that's ok. It's a lot cheaper than a new truck and is loaded. The main factor that changed my mind on top of reading good things about Ecoboosts on here a lot more than bad is that the used market right now is AMAZING.
