Thanks

Still waiting for mine to come in. Hope it meets my expectations.
I can say with 100% certainty that you won't regret your decision. I had driven nothing but Chevy trucks my entire life when I decided in 2010 to make the jump to my 2010 King Ranch 4x4. Its giving marrying my wife a heck of a competition for the best decision I've ever made. Sometimes I actually think I love it more depending on her mood. Traded my 07 Crew Cab 1500 LTZ Z71 and the only thing I missed was the remote start which I have since added. Even though I wish I had waited one more year and got the Eco or 5.0 I still am happy as hell every time I get in my truck.

I've test driven the eco a few times and it is an absolute joy to drive. Thinking hard about getting one in an FX4 but just can't bring myself to get rid of my KR even with the old 5.4. Don't kill your excitement worrying about MPG. No full size pickup is going to get the gas mileage of a civic or Prius. Your are getting a hell of a truck with an engine that will smoke the bigger ones in competing trucks and also gets a little better mpg. The ecoboost is no miracle worker as far as gas but it is a heck of a piece of technology.

Crew cab, 4x4, 3.73. I suppose the average speed was about 75 and I was driving into the wind coming back

Considering your speed that's not bad at all. These trucks are big and you will find that your mpgs will hit a wall at around 65. Going faster than that really punishes your fuel economy. I had a crx that would get 45 mpg while doing 90... But that car was like 3 feet tall.

Cool. Thanks for the replies. Getting pretty excited to get her again. I got a little bummed when I realized that nobody was getting the mileage that's posted on the sticker.
Chevy loyalty is a 3rd generation thing in my family and mileage was one of the selling points worth making the switch. My brother tried Ford 20 years ago and it was BAD. The steering was VERY loose , had no power , and the paint came off like crazy. It was a nightmare for him , especially having been told by my father - Not to do it.
When I told him I traded my jeep for a Ford , he told me I was nuts , and he'd never own one again !

I just ordered my second fx4 Ecoboost there great truck I would recommend to every one, there just fun to drive and comfortable, mileage is great for a sport truck but ford would still sell these trucks if the put something a little closer for MPG on the sticker I haven't heard anyone say they get 29mpg on the Hyw there sale and marketing team dropped the ball on this one! Either way great truck and I haven't heard of one bad thing yet about these trucks
