Ecoboost build Worth it or Not
new to F150 forum I own a 12 F150 ecoboost 3.5 running, intake, deleted resonator, muffler, catch can, custom tune.
I'm looking to add some more HP but wondering if worth deleting Cats and Tuning them out worth the time and money

Do not remove the cats, not worth it for 2 HP. Replace them with free flow cats instead. There are also o2 sensors that rely on the cats and will mess with the programming. It is illegal to remove them and you cannot sell the vehicle without them installed. If inspected, the fines for removal are pretty damned high.
Not worth it for a few HP.

Thanks that's good to know didn't know it made such little gains in power. Maybe charge pipe and BBK throttle body will help I'm already running 12.71 @103 just little extra jump
lol.

Still my daily driver don't race 🏁 every weekend but like the power there when needed for fun when competition pulls up. Lol drives my wife crazy but the fact owning a family pickup with the baby seat in the back that's mops up most fast cars in the street is hilarious 😂

Removing and/or replacing the exhaust on an EB truck does little to nothing as far as power gain.
Dyno'd the truck same day with exhaust then removed everything from the cats to the back. Gained 2hp (aka within dyno error).
If you are really going for a sleeper, keep exhaust stock.

DP's show the biggest gains for the money after a tuner. Full Race DP's are very well designed, but will throw a code. KOOK's makes 50 state legal DP's that also perform well, but are more $$$. Cat-back does nothing for a stock or "tune only" truck. DP's do.
I haven't seen anyone post results just by removing the cats on the stock DP"s. but for the cost of a set of MAK DP's, I can't see it being worth the effort. Especially if you had or wanted to go back to stock.
Meth would be the next go to for "easy" hp.

So doing a complete disconnect may have impacted your findings.
