We left Wed am and made it to Cleveland,Tenn where we spent the night. Left Thurs. am and made it to Frederick, Md. OK. Friday we went to Harpers Ferry and then headed back to Frederick. Leaving Sun pm and heading down to Gordonsville, Va. for two days and then down to Piegon Forge,Tn. for 3 or 4 days. Nice to finally be able to use the time share we bought years ago. Truck has been doing great and getting up to 18 mpg at 70 mph. Hills and a few mountains have been no problem so far. Over 1200 miles so far with no probems. Using sister in laws lap top and will check back in when I can.

Sounds like a good time is being had by all. When you get to Piegon Forge, be sure to ride over to Gatlinburg. "Bout five miles, and a great little town. Enjoy, and be safe.

Enjoy the Smokies! We go to Gatlinburg once a year. Bought a timeshare there right after we honeymooned there in 97. Ended up selling it on 08. We bought a lower end one and never seemed to make it a smart investment. By the time maintenance fees were paid annually, we could just pay for a hotel or cabin for the three days a year we stay. Anyway, I digress. Have a good trip and enjoy the scenery. I live in WV so my truck is always pointed up or down a hill. Wish I didnt have the instant fuel indicator!

Yesterday we went up to Newfound Gap over 5,000 ft and this evening back to sea level Louisiana! Definite difference in scenery in Virginia and Tennessee compared to Louisiana.
