Dumbest thing someone has said about your truck
#141
When my husband and I go places in my truck and I always drive when we take my truck, people always ask my husband questions about the truck. It's just a stock 2010 F150 Supercab
"Ohh, that's a nice truck, I bet that cost you a bunch."
" Do you like your truck?" "What kind of gas mileage does that thing get?"
My husband likes to respond, " I don't know, you'll have to ask her, it's not my truck."
I hate it when people say "Tell your husband nice truck." or "Oh, your husband bought you a nice truck."
Hate to disappoint you, but I picked it out and paid for it all by myself.
My husband actually says he hates driving my truck, says it is like driving a dump truck. LOL, fine by me. He does own a 82 F100 that has over 300,000 miles and his daily driver is a 93 Toyota pickup and I have a 94 Toyota pickup.
Love my F150!

Ok, my stupid question is a bit different. I pulled into the gas station and the guy next to me had the exact twin of my truck but he had only had it for a week. I told him nice truck! We both chuckled.
Then he says " the only thing I don't understand is why ford only puts 21 gallon tank in them", and I tell him well I have a 37 gallon tank...the guy had the look of a person who just dropped 50k and didn't get what he wanted! Steam rolled out his ears.
I got in the truck and my wife said " what was wrong with that guy" I said he didn't read up enough before a big decision

The opposite happened to me. Got a '15 screw a couple weeks ago....couldve swore I had read it had the 23 gallon tank not the 36 gallon tank. Filled up yesterday for the first time at a quarter tank and was stunned when it kept rolling right on past about 18 and finally stopped at 28! It shouldve been obvious based on the numbers the truck was telling me, but for whatever reason it wasnt registering in my head! Sure enough I went to my window sticker and plain as day right there...36 gal. I was happy.

When I first bought my truck, a '93, I made the mistake of going into AutoZone to try to find something to clean the interior -- other than Armor All. There was a guy there, kind of heavy set. He asked if he could help me, and I told him what I was looking for. He said, "Well, if it's a Ford it probably hasn't run for fifteen years."
I turned and walked out, but as I was leaving, I said, "You don't look like you've done a lot of running in the last fifteen years either, Tiny." Advance across the street was very helpful.
