Late reply, but I had a drop in put in for less then 100$, and it gave me good retail value as a "bedliner" I hardly used it till wife wanted "mulch and rock". But it works.

A rubber bed mat. Its a truck, not the inside of someone's house. The sooner an owner stops worrying about scratches or dents inside the bed the less stress they have.

To each their own. Which is why there is a thriving auto and truck accessories market. If I can put something in my bed that will protect it, make it more comfortable for me to use, and still allow me to do everything that the truck was designed for, then why shouldn't I?

Rust in bed
I am going with a drop in bedliner only because I have some rust holes in the bed of my 02 F150 super crew. I don’t plan on keeping the truck forever otherwise I’d get a new bed. My question is, any ideas on some quick cheap fixes to cover the holes so that they do not get any bigger while under the bedliner?

Spray in for sure, then followed by a rubber bed mat if so desired. My '19 just has the rubber mat from Amazon. When these lease is up, and I'll be getting a new one, and I'll make sure it has the spray in from the factory.
