So the driver door opens with no lights no chime and radio stays on but only on the driver door .. I sprayed wd in the latch it worked that night .. the next morning nothing. So I removed the door latch and inspected the ajar switch.. checked out fine.. pretty simple switch. Plugged everything back in and no change so I decided to jump the switch out and got nothing.. I checked the wires in the door jam and everything looks fine also changed out the 2 to 1 purple wire issue I seen guys talking about by the rear piller..
All said and done I'm lost in the water here .. I would think by jumping the switch out it would have worked. I put a meter to the plug and ground seems fine but no power( I'm not great at electric AL but I'm understanding to how it works)
Anyone have anything advice .. is this a bad ajar switch and I'm just looking to far into this . LMK Thanks for reading
