Drive to Reverse at 55 MPH
What will happen if I shift my 2014 from D to R at highway speed?

I'm thinking this is the correct answer.
Actually I did it twice by accident and nothing happened but it was only for a brief second or less.
I'm thinking that with these electronic transmissions, they'll protect themselves and prevent reverse from being engaged. After all, it's all electrical with no actual mechanical connection, isn't it?
All automatics that I have owned have allowed me to "slide" from D to N and prevent entry to R unless you pull back on the column shift lever or push the button on a console shift.
This 2014 column shift won't "slide" from D to N, it requires pulling back on the shift lever. Problem is, when I pull back and shift from D to N, it wants to keep right on going to R. If you're at a stop with your foot on the brake this isn't a problem but it is if you are moving.
