I've always like a touch of chrome. I think some nice Allow/Chrome mix rims.
All terrain tires, leveled. Maybe the Chrome Overlay for the door handle, not the entire insert. And maybe throw in a toolbox on the back

I'd really like to change the grill, though - prefeerably to black, but I don't know if it would look right on my truck .... ?
Plastidip. Durable, but easily peels off if you don't like it.

I'd black it out, black wheels, black bumpers, and you already have the black door handles and mirrors. A leveling kit really sets these off as well, either raise the front or lower the rear depending on what you like.

For the interior Katzkin seems to offer the best fitted leather seats, arguably better than the OEM Ford leather. Expect to spend a full day putting them on yourself, or pay someone to do it.

I think those flush mount accordion style tonneau covers look pretty slick as well, but they are pricey.

Your best start is by far tires and rims. They make the single biggest difference in the look of most every vehicle. Probably changes the look of a truck more than any other single mod.

Go through the 09-14 forum and search some threads regarding pics with tires and rims. You'll soon spot some that really look good to you. Once you decide on those and get them on you can start adding more mods based around the look of your new shoes.

Have fun.

Just a leveling kit or some Bilstein 5100's on the front with 33 inch tires using the stock wheels will make a drastic difference. See you have a 4x2 so I would go with a 2 inch level and some Falken Wildpeak AT3W tires in a 285x70x17 . Bet you couldn't stop looking at it afterwards!!

I agree - tires and rims is what came to mind first. I'm not really due for tires yet, but I'm tempted to replace these stock tires early. I know there's a lot of tire options out there, but I've always liked the look of the BF Goodrich ATs. I really do need BETTER tires, though. And some nicer rims. So, there's at $2,500 right there alone

Well, I went shopping for new tires and rims today. I'm gonna check out one more place tomorrow, but here's the combo I'm seriously considering at this point:

BF Goodrich KO2 ATs (265/70R-17)

MB Vortex wheels 17" (matte black, powder coated)

$1,550 out-the-door

Nice. And a 1K less than you were thinking. KO2"s are great tires.

Do you know what the offset of the rims are?

Decided to wait on tires & wheels. First order of business is to lift my front end about 2.5" using the Bilstein 5100 shock leveling kit. Then I'll figure out what tires and wheels to get. I learned a thing or two today! I'm really sold on going with the Bilstein 5100 shock leveling kit. I think, for my truck, this is really the best option. All I really need to do is lift the front end a bit, get new tires & rims, and I'm set. Keeping it very simple. After that, it's just smaller stuff ... running boards/steps, etc.

I'm pretty well settled on getting the BF Goodrich ATs ... it's just deciding what size after the lift is done. I definitely want a bigger, more aggressive tire, but not too big to where it looks disproportionate or silly. A friend of mine is firmly suggesting a 285/65R18 ... which, to me, seems like a huge tire - but then again I'm used to looking at the puney 255/65/R17 that are on my truck now. What do you guys think about tire size, considering the type of lift I'll be doing?

Also looking for some suggestions on wheels. This is a tough one. I know I want the matte black/powder-coated style wheel .... just so many opions out there - would welcome some suggestions on this as well!

Thanks!

PS - The estimate I got today was from Line-X .... $720 for the leveling kit & labor. Probably worth it to get another estimate or two from other places .... ?
