Default "Dressing up" my f150

Looking for some ideas on how to jazz up my truck a little. I look at my f150, and it seems a little drab. I don't have running boards, or shiny rims, or anything like that. I did get my windows tinted and I've got a nice bedliner - but I still feel like my truck could use a little something to make it's appearance pop. Yes, I realize it's a truck, but I don't use mine for offroading or anything like that - it's a street/highway vehicle for me (for lack of a better way to put it). I'm not trying to make it look "pimping" or blingy ... just a few things to make it pop a bit, that's all. I look at my truck and I see a "work truck" that happens to be grey. It's just kinda boring.

Also looking for ideas on what I can do to make it really nice on the inside ... maybe special seat covers?

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated - thanks!

This is all personnel preference but.....

I'd get new wheels, 20x9's maybe, with some 33's or 34's. You'd need a leveling kit for that as well. I like wide tires so 305 or 295's. FX4 fender flares would look good as well.

I also would get a tonea(sp?) cover, I have a backflip and it looks great. Good also get some OEM takeoff running boards as well.

I'd do something with your headlights/tails as well, HID upgrade or aftermarket with LED.

PTM your front and rear bumper, I'm not a chrome bumper fan.

You can get chromed metal strips for the grooves on the side of your truck and tailgate. I added them to my truck and like the little extra. A tonneau, and some add hood and window deflectors.

Thanks. Any opinion on those precision-fit type of seat covers?

I haven't seen much of them in the F-150 world, but katzkin seats were VERY popular in the Grand Prix world back in the day. They make a very good product (no cheap) that gives the buyer a lot of latitude to customize. It's likely better leather than the stock seats, but I haven't compared.

Some new rims would really make a difference on your truck, and a level. Even getting a set of your favorite stock rim with some AT tires would make a huge difference.

A grill can also really change the look of the truck. There are quite a few options out there, but I think Ford did a good job out of the gate. Mine has an aftermarket grill (kind of a black mesh) that was on it when I bought it. I like it, but probably would haven't picked it myself over the 11 FX4 grille if I started new...but it is different and looks pretty sharp.

Take 100 bucks, head to your favorite auto parts store and buy all the stickies. (kidding)
New rims and tires would make all the difference in the world

Where's a good place to get a new front grill? I've actually never liked my "faux chrome" grill - would've prefered the black one - but I think they're only available on the FX4s (if I'm not mistaken). I'd really like to change the grill, though - prefeerably to black, but I don't know if it would look right on my truck .... ?
