Default Don't Buy Photoblocker....

i received my new photoblocker in the mail that is supposed to over expose your picture if you get caught by a red light camera. IT DOES NOT WORK!!! followed the directions exactly on brand new plates. didn't do anything to 'em. don't waste your money......the stuff is junk! i'm not mad at them, just disappointed. but wanted to let others know who may be considering such a purchase.

Did you get a ticket? I was thinking about getting something like that. But thanks for the heads up.

You ever see those pictures that when you tilt them they have a different picture? Someone made a license plate cover that did that. You can see the plate from straight on but cameras can't because they are mounted too high.

Red means stop. No photoblocker needed.

I agree! I've seen as many as 3 vehicles go through a red light in Beckley WV It's a dangerous problem. If I'm sitting at a red light I always look both ways (just to be on the safe side) before I pull out when I get the green. My advice to the OP is to just stop running red lights.

why in the world would you run a red light and put yourself at risk of getting killed or killing someone else?

Mythbusters disproved all the different "theories" about blocking plates from a red light camera.

FYI- The photoblocker only works on specific 'flash' cameras, from a certain distance, and from a certain angle (ie. on the top of a light pole across an intersection, not dead-on from 3 feet away).

While certain criteria need to be met, it CAN be the difference between a $300 speeding ticket and, well, not.

Personal Point -- why in the name of anything holy, would anyone use Photoblocker for the specific use of running red lights?? I hope a tractor trailer t-bone's you into a pond of concrete. Going 4mph over through Sunpass Tolls is different from risking innocent lives because of one's self-proclaimed superiority.
