I've had good luck with DTD. I got my last 3 sets of tires from them.
Sorry to hear that your transaction didn't go well.

I have a supplier who lost one of my orders for two weeks and then due to various screwups my order wasn't started for another two weeks, they charged me $38 for overnight shipping. When I complained the controller of the company wouldn't refund the $38. Seems no one has any concern for customer service anymore.

Good luck man. I've had bad experiences with their shops before. Had to have them balance my Cooper ATPs 5 times, and they still aren't balanced right. The manager asked if I liked the tires when I came in for the fifth time and I told him how much I've hated them, and he was like, "oh, alright, sorry to hear that." lol I probably won't deal with discount tire in any form or fashion ever again.

I live in a town of 900 people, no Tuesday delivery. As to when they should have shipped, they shipped on Friday, not Tuesday or Wednesday.

Also as to the shops, those are not my issue, its the online portion of their customer service I have a problem with. If they do indeed come on Monday, I wont ask DTD to do anything, but if it Wednesday or Thursday this week, yeah, I will be making some phone calls.

did you ever have them road force balanced? Sometimes certain tires need that, no shop will get them balanced perfect without it

I'm not sure what they use there. Supposedly they have the best balancing machines available, but I never had an issue with my old tires.

Sorry to hear about your troubles. That's been 100% opposite of my experience with them. I used to order from Tire Rack...but they are way too expensive. DTD blows everybody else out of the water. I've ordered multiple sets of wheels and tires from DTD and I ALWAYS have my order within 48 hours sitting on my front porch.

They are so great that my cousin needed new tires for his '04 F-150 and we placed an order for Cooper ATPs in 275/65-18 on Saturday July 2nd, 2016 and the tires were sitting on his porch on Tuesday July 5th!!! That's on a holiday weekend and they still kicked butt!! And after rebates, his tires are going to cost him a little over $500! He loves DTD now too!

DTD has the best customer service I've ever dealt with from any company and that's why I keep going back to them. Love for this company is shared all over the internet. They are especially loved by the Jeep community.

Good luck getting it all sorted out.

Its totally frustrating when a large company that encourages someone to use their online services, and then provide poor customer service. You start out trying to resolve, only to get an excuse, which does not solve the issue, but simply attempts to place the blame elswhere. And all that does is frustrate you further.

Only recourse is to never do business with them again, and as you have already done, post your experience. Does not help you get any quicker results, but perhaps if/when they loose business, it will hit them where it hurts; their pocket.

I ordered on July 2nd also......Discount Tire blames UPS for not scanning the tracking. I should get them today, 6 days after him......They had to sit on DTD dock for 4 days before moving.
