There are two versions of the device you plug in. Bluetooth or ones with a cable that plugs into your usb on your laptop. I like the one with a cable. Less chance of a broken connection. You may run into a slight problem of a license for the Forscan. Not a problem getting a trial version. Go to the Forscan site and read all about it for the best informaton.
Important: As it states, be sure you back up everything before you make changes.

Backing up was easy but it was by far the most time consuming thing in the entire process. The spreadsheets have everything you really need, the guys work on laying it out and making it as easy as possible...is fantastic.
This tutorial is fantastic and has all the links you need; The adapters that work, the link to the download and how to save and how to change lines. Also it explains why it is ok to do while you're under warranty. It looks and sounds more complicated than it is. There are lines and you find the line and change a 1-4 values(spelled out), no math, no real thinking involved. Find what you want, read the description for options (if applicable), find the section, find the line and change the value as given in the spreadsheet. Link to tutorial
For the auto start/stop you go to the BCM module, find line 726-48-02 and ignore the "Xs" and change the 1 to a 0: X1XX XXXX XXXX becomes X0XX XXXX XXXX
Literally a click, backspace and "0" then write. That's it.

The only good thing I have ever found out about snow is: It melts in the Spring.

The snow melting sure does make one heck of a mess. I can feel for those in areas that flood. I am lucky that I live in an area that some call "beach sand." It sucks up the water like crazy and a flood at my house would be so unusual it would be a national news event.
