Default Truck Winter Prep

Just curious for all yall that deal with all the lovely things that come with winter. What do you do to get your truck ready for winter.

Here's how I prep. Just did the other day in fact.

Put transfer case into 4 hi. Did 4x4 engage? If yes, then ready for winter.

trade my california duster for a telescoping ice scraper/brush under the seat, and put on my winter tires. Switch to ice melting window washing fluid. Tie something in front of the radiator if the forecast calls for less than -10F for an extended period of time.

-Clay bar and put a good coat of synthetic wax (better durability) on.
-Check Windshield Wipers
-Tires have good tread?
-Sand bags/weights needed?
-Ice melting washer fluid (Very nice to have!)
-Keep the tank more than half full during winter (Personal preference)

This is what I start with...

Coming from someone who has lived in both southern AL and northern FL, I'm surprised y'all even do that. The only time I ever start my vehicle early is if there's actual frost on it that I have to scrap off the windshield. Then I just turn it on and let it run while I get to scraping
