Thanks.
You would have to call them and ask, I do not know the specifics along those lines, one way that would likely be acceptable is canceling one plan and buying a different plan, like going from an Extra care to a Premium care or vise versa, you didn't say which you purchased.

Cancel. Champion Ford, Ziegler, or Flood. One I am missing I’m sure but only buy FORDs ESP warranty.

I would love to work at an honest dealership in retirement, but they are so hard to find...

the maintenance is thru Ford, that is not worth it either? You don't think I'll use $1600 over 9 years? How much are the big services (50,000 etc)?
Look at Flood Ford for pricing on both as they CAN be purchased on line unless you are in Florida (or so I hear). I tend to drive between 20 and 24K a year and get over 175K on them before trade. The Ford maintenance plan cost me about the same as oil and filter changes for the 150k miles I paid for but covers so much more. The ESP I purchased was for 8 years and 175K miles with 1st day rental. So for the next 7 years or so, I only have to buy gas, tires, and batteries.

Your decisions may vary due to your differing circumstances.

Many, many posts on these topics.

The ONLY maintenance in the first 100,000 miles (read your manual) are oil changes, air filter changes, and tire rotation. Not remotely close to $1,540.

Cancel both. And, in the future, don't LISTEN to what they say, READ THE ENTIRE CONTRACT BEFORE YOU SIGN ANYTHING.

Unfortunately, you fell for the old - let's pressure this guy in the Finance office when he's worn down and wants the truck.

As was mentioned, you can cancel and get a better deal from the above mentioned locations. Except if you live in Florida. Florida considers extended warranties as insurance and it's regulated. We have to pay full price and CANNOT negotiate so everyone gets charged the same. The above mentioned locations will not sell a plan to a Florida resident because of that law.

I had a weak moment on the Maintenance Plan also. Woke up the next morning and called to have it cancelled. They will
credit the loan balance but payments will not change. The Maintenance Plan was NOT a good deal for me. I kept the Extended
Warranty.

Sounds like you absolutely overpaid at the dealership. But I've been looking on Flood ESP and I only see 8 yr plans, so might keep that in mind if you really, really want years 9 and 10 with a warranty.

I'm having trouble deciding if I'm going to buy one or not. I bought a used 2016 SCrew that had 28000 miles on it. I normally wouldn't buy extended warranty, but buying this one used and assuming the prior owner used it a little rough has me considering purchasing one online.

I would not want any 3rd party warranty, just me though!

Pretty sure Flood and Ziegler will sell on-line. Good luck.

If you are going to get a ESP, consider how long you are going to keep your truck and how many miles you actually drive every year and use those 2 data points in making your decision. The lower the deductible you are willing to tolerate the higher the purchase cost. However, balance that with the fact that a large portion of our truck's "ills" are computer related and most stealerships charge around $100 just to hook the diagnosis machine up.

The maintenance plan was a good idea for me, but may not work for you.
