My 13 does it, I have just gotten into the habit of walking behind the truck and wiping it when I am getting in.

Can you wipe some rain-X on it? I may try that with mine, it does the same and its not dealer installed, I did it myself, but yeah, when it gets wet or dirty it is less than crystal clear.

Get yourself a bottle of the superhydrophobic coating spray. It should help with the moisture, but may or may not help with dirt.

When you spend $55K+ for a truck, this is not simply a 1st world problem. Better stated, it is a problem. And for the record, my Subaru lens never needed to be wiped in my 3 years of driving it around.

Go drive your Subaru then, there's way too many whiners on this forum as it is. Just because you paid a certain sum of money for a truck doesn't mean it will be perfect and have everything designed just as perfectly as your hindsight works. I guarantee if they put a shield over it or mounted it in a different location some of you would find a way to be upset that it isn't aimed perfectly or the sun catches it at a weird angle.

If you're going to be a troll online, let me help you troll better. "There's way too many" should be "There are way too many...".

I worked for a large auto manufacturer in this country and saw how much attention to detail was given to email the smallest of parts and features. In my 2 months of owning the truck, it has become very evident that Ford dropped the ball here.

Do the trolls simply have nowhere else to go at this point? Couldn't simply not put out a reply that added zero value to a rather large community? You had to be that guy? Best of luck to you sir.

Maybe Ford should have used the supplier Subaru uses? The superhydrophobic coating suggestion is good also. I am heading to Subaru tomorrow to pick up a camera for my truck.

Think rain-x over the lens is a good idea? Curious...
