Default this a decent deal on an 84 ford?

idk exactly wut kinda ford it is but ik its an 84 and he said it has a 400? im thinkin 460 but anyway its my gf's step dads friends truck and he parked it running 2 years ago and said its as big or bigger than my truck is now and he wants 500 bucks. im thinkin either mud truck or just making my truck a lil smaller and more fuel efficient and usin this one for fun. ya'll think 500 is a good number for that? and i dont believe theres too much rust if any but as long as its not the frame it dont matter to me the body can be fixed easily. any imput would be cooll. ill probably look at it this saturday and might post some pics up then

go look at it first. sittin for 2 yrs can really have an effect. stuff will stick, and breakin it loose might hurt it. but 500 bucks why not. hell Id probably take it. cant wait for pics!!!

$500 bucks doesn't sound too bad. And it could be a 400, my father's 1977 LTD. Station wagon had a 400c.i. engine in it. Found this site with specs on the 77 LTD:

Even if it needs some work thats a smokin' deal. Tires alone can cost $500

I did a quick check on CL for prices.. and cheapest I can find is about $1600.. so if it runs, and looks nice. No frame rust. Get it!

If you buy it I think you need to get pics of it with that chick on the hood. You know just so we can compare it to your other truck....
