Trading in a truck?????
I'm travelling about 10 hours with a buddy Monday morning to pick up his new truck, he bought a new 2011 F-150 over the phone, he has all the papers signed and everything. His only worry is, he is trading in his old truck becuase it has lots of problems, it runs fine around the city but when you get on the gas on the highway and going up hills and stuff it runs like crap. My question is, if we get down there and the dealer takes this thing out for a test drive and it starts running like crap for them and throws a check engine light, will they still take it as a trade?? and remember, all the paper work is already signed.

If the paperwork is all done theyll just give him what they told him they would for the truck.
Chances are it will just get loaded onto a car hauler and taken to an auction anyway.
