My scenario.... I was thinking of color matching my headlight reflector buckets (doing a retrofit). My truck is Sterling Grey Metallic, but that paint can only be obtained thru a body shop in a can (AFAIK)...but I can find Dark Shawdow Grey through most parts stores in an aerosol.

My question is, how close of a match are these paints in reality? Will the DSG match pretty darned close behind headlight lens?

Any assistance would be appreciated.

I wish I had an answer for you! but it should look pretty nice when all said and done. personally I think it would look better if it was a little darker then the sterling grey... I seen a truck on here that matched it and it looked a quite tacky. IMO

I think they are pretty off I have a dark shadow grey truck and its darker than sterling grey.

Thanxs for the input guys....still haven't decided which direction I'm going to go...but when I do, I will post pics in the retrofit thread I have started.
