Some A Hole took a key or nail to the bed of my truck. It's about 3 feet long. Anyone know how to get it fixed without breaking the bank??

my nefew drew a fairy tale land on the back of my tailgate lol n it was trashed. while I was away in Afghanistan. luckly. my mom got it polished n cleaned up n it looked brand new. just go to a local paint shop n see what magic they can do

You can go to a auto parts store and get some Turtle wax Polishing Compound . It works good as long as the scratches are not too deep.

Can you feel the scratches with a fingernail? If yes they won't just 'polish out'.

Take it somewhere and get a quote. Most places can do a touch up for around $100 if it isn't that bad.

- or you can try to do it yourself with the factory touch up paint. If you do, get some of this stuff. It removes the "blobs" from the touch up paint for a pretty smooth finish
