damaged rim

in the house
Depends on the rim. Steel or alloy? There is a whole industry related to fixing rims, but personally I would rather spend the bucks and get a new one or a good used one, rather than trust in some repair. Especially at the speeds I drive....lol!
Just do a search in your area, there should be dozens of shops that specialize in this.

Seems as tho that would qualify for a 'road hazard' and should be covered on your insurance policy. I'd check with your carrier.
State Farm is my carrier and I know that would qualify. $100 deductible but my XLT rims list around $700 from FoMoCo.
There possibly wouldn't be a deductible cuz when they replaced my windscreen from a stone chip I didn't pay anything.

Keystone Automotive repairs them/sells refurbished wheels but they need yours as a core.

Youre probably best off trying to find one at a junkyard which might be a little tough considering its so new.

Its a bit tougher finding parts for a 2010 than a '9x at a junkyard though.
Even finding parts for my '06 is a bit tough. When I needed an HVAC control panel only one junkyard around here had it and they said these trucks are tough to buy, even wrecked.

His words: "If it bends, take a hammer to it and actually break it or the warranty doesn't apply".
I thought he was nutz. And, I di-int buy the warranty, neither.
The only off roading I do, is trying to get back on the road that for some reason, I drove off of..............

If it is a aluminum wheel as long as the barrel is not bent or the rim is not tore it should be repairable. Steel wheels, 90% the wheel is gone, when you hit something most of the it bends the whole wheel you may not see it, or feel it, but it does bend it.
