Anyone know the difference between these 2 tires? They are both Nitto Terras

*305/55R20 120S $290 ea

LT305/55R20 E121S $318 ea

LT Tires with an "E" load range have a 10-ply rating.
*Indicates Extra Load (XL)

does anyone know the XL ply rating?

I have a 2006 Lariat SupCrew

I'm unsure about the ply rating, but I should think you would be fine with the "D" rated tires, as the "E" is for if you're towing really heavy loads. We have "E" rated tires on our F350 because we haul a 20k pound toy hauler

If you can help it, stay away from E load tires. I have them for winter tires and they ride rougher than my ex girl.......... err I mean..........

I run 555's on front n new DR's on back of my T/A. Love em. Know this doesnt help with truck tires just saying!
