Default Painting XLT Handles

Unfortunately, I am having to get body work on my truck and don't even have 7,000 miles on her..

Has anyone has the textured plastic handle trim painted? I want to ask and see if the body shop can do this while they are already painting a new door skin for the truck.

Any other ideas for anything I should have them paint while they have it? I thought about the bumpers, but I think I am going to have a ranch hand rear replacement installed anyways. Only other thing I can think of are adding some OE fender flares but I'm having trouble finding some that I can have at my door by the end of the week.

(My truck is a 2014)

Lightbulb

Posting consideration .....

1) HINT/TIP: Put your vehicle information (year, cab type, trim, engine, wheelbase, _x4 drive, etc.) in your sig' -OR- provide it in your posting(s).
.

2) HINT/TIP: You'll find posting in the appropriate
< year of the F-150 >
section more helpful/appropriate than General F150 Discussion posts.

Thanks, I should have included it is a 2014 XLT. I put it in general discussion because it is pertaining to multiple-generation F150 XLT's, but I will choose a specific year range next time.

^ What the **** is your point, guy? You are absolutely no help at all.

To the OP, I would think the easiest way to get your handles painted, would to be to buy the stick on chrome ones, and have the shop paint them.

Yeah.. I would imagine the prep work involved in smoothing out that textured surface before paint would be a pain, but I'll just call up to the body shop and see what they think.

Figured I might as well try to get those painted and possibly some Lariat/FX2 flares.
