Cool component from a shop owner
Just got a great compliment from the owner of a NAPA shop that did my inspection. He came up to the counter while I was picking it up and he said “Man I’ll tell ya, I’m not a fan of those older F150’s- they go to **** so quickly, but yours is the nicest I’ve seen come thru here in at least 3 years. We couldn’t find anything even remotely almost worn. Beautiful.”
Means a lot to me since my 2004 has janky paint on the hood and roof. I try to keep it real nice. Makes it worth it.

Cool, that does make ya feel good. I get more compliments on my '04 Ranger than I do on my '17150.

Great story Lenn!
The new vehicles are cookie cutter dime a dozens.
Nothing like getting a compliment on an oldie considering some people forgot what they even looked like.
