Hello to all !
I'm new here and still trying to figure things out, so we'll see how this goes.
Last July I picked up my new 2017 F150 XLT Supercab with the 2.7 ecoboost. My wife has a Wrangler and I have a 2013 F150 XL for my work truck, so decided to shut the new one down for the winter (we're in southern BC).
I added stabilizer to the fuel, filled the tank to the top, parked it, pulled the battery and covered her up.
Now that spring is here it's time to fire it up.
My question is besides a very soon oil change (it's under 3,000 km), is there any thing I should be aware of ?
I have read about the computer needing to regroup to figure out the idling and fuel consumption.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Fire it up and check the air pressure in the tires. That's about it.

The tires may be flat spotted from sitting in the same spot unless you blocked the frame or installed tire cradles. You will know within a 5-10 miles of driving if the flat spots are temporary or permanent.

A good inspection. Never know what might be living in/under your truck. After burning a half tank of gas I would refill it.

A good wash and wax wouldn't hurt. Enjoy your truck.

I would have a good look at the wiring to make sure no little critters go in there and chewed something up.

Best practice would have been to change the oil BEFORE storage. You should be ok though with what had been posted, just remember for next year, get the old oil out first.

Since you pulled the battery, the trans will have to relearn it's shift strategy as per the way you drive. Your throttle response will likely be a bit more touchy than what you remember.. Truck just has to relearn you.
