Default Climate Control Unit Broken

My 05' F150's climate control fan settings work on 3 and 4 but not 1 and 2 (strange I know); before I buy a new climate control unit should I check anything else? Everything else on the unit works fine and all of my fuses are good...

It sounds like a bad resistor. I think it's behind the glove box.

Is there only one resistor and do you think I can find it by just following the wires from the back of the unit?

Your control unit is fine. This is what Nassty is telling you to change. If you pull the glove box down, remove the item the red arrow is pointing to. It should have bulges on it and may even possibly smell burnt. Pick one up for about $20 at your local parts store.

Thanks to both of you, I appreciate it! The part is on it's way, this looks like an easy fix!
