Chrome or Black?
What is your preference and why.
It seems everyone is wanting to take all chrome off their new trucks and replace with black.
Just can't quite get a grip on taking a perfectly nice shiny chrome part and painting black because I come from the era that the more chrome the better. My motorcycle mentality maybe?
Let us know what you have.

my preference depends on the color of the vehicle. light shades(typically silver and brighter) tend to receive better acknowledgements with more chrome than black. and the opposite, darker shades tend to look better with black. just my preference. granted in recockulously colorblind, but still, i can tell. =)

If it's plastidip then chrome. I hate plastidip because nothing says "i want mods but I only have $30" like a can of that. If it's done right or the truck comes from the factory body colored like the fx4 or the ram sport then yes, that. It looks awesome.

here in the pickup truck capital of canada, I see at least 2 to 3 dozen completely black trucks a day, from 150's to Dodges and Chevs.
So common that none of them even make me blink an eye and do a 2nd look. Way to common now.
On the other hand, trucks that have a nice paint job and chrome differences will garner me a 2nd look as it seems everyone has a different type of chrome accent.
