Default Chime

Does any one know how to remove the chime for the seat belt. it drives me nuts. is it under the dash? will it effect any thing elce?

What make, model and year vehicle do you have? I disabled mine, it is explained in the manual.

Yeah, the new ones can be disabled with a series of steps, but I did find a video on your truck.

I cut the blue wire with grey it only stops the chime when key is in not when seat belt is not on?

It says in your owners manual. I would tell you but mine is probably different since its an 05. Also I would NOT recommend to not wear the seat belt while driving on the road.

You don't need to be cutting any wires. Just look in your owners manual as it has instructions of how to disable the chime.
You can also search "disable seat belt chime" on this forum or at YouTube.
