Default Catalytic Converter anti theft shields

Have anyone run across anti theft shields for a 2018 F150?

Cool

A locked and alarmed garage.

Even then ... If they (being them) want it bad enough it's like dropping your keys in a molten lava flow - they're gone.

Yeah, I have.

It took me longer than expected to remove it to get to the converter.
The owner thought he was being clever. Joke was on him.

Anything that causes confusion would probably be effective. A glitter bomb might do the trick. The MO is, apparently, to get in and get out as quickly as possible.

Here's a video of how the thieves work.

Have you mocked up the aluminum plate yet?

Would like to see some pictures that show how close the plate gets to the frame rails.

this is what I have handy.

I want to say I have trouble getting my hand between the frame and the skid plate in most spots except the front.

I think I'm sold on your aluminum plate, would like to see pictures of it. I presume it's not exactly like the steel plate due to the differences in working alum vs steel.
