Can't get rear seat to latch 2014 F150 crew
As to have some body work done and repairman dropped back seat backs. Now I can't get them to relatch. I have latch in open position but can not get them to engage. Any tricks?

They latch to a sliding pin that's mounted in a bracket on the rear wall. If the seat backs are dropped and that latch pin is moved from its position, it's a headache to put them back.
You will have to do some dry fitting, and perhaps put a box wrench over the steel release pin on the wall bracket.
If you search on here for hidden screw storage or drop seat, you should find some pics. Guys here use it for hidden storage behind the rear seats.

I put the sliding pin all the way to the top. Put the seat back up and then the seat bottom but not locked. Then take the seat back and give it a good push/slam onto the pin.

Yea I just did a mod to my back seat latch in my '13. When I tried to get it latched back it wouldn't go. The pin on the rear of the truck (not the seat) can move as noted above. My location where it works is about 3/4 down from the top. You can see my mod I did here on YT.
Might give you an idea of where your pin should go for reference. Shouldn't be a problem, just have to fiddle with it a bit.

hope this works for my 2014 Scab, nothing else has worked, most reference a latch at the top like on Crew cabs, but it appears that the Scab's have bottom latches, I'll find out tomorrow! thanks again
