Can I put crewcab running boards on a supercab?
Not a big fan of the short running board look on the supercab. Curious if I can throw the OEM crew cab running boards on my supercab? 2017 F-150 Supercab 2.7L

It can probably be done with some modification. The easiest mod would be to mount the brackets in the factory locations on the frame and drill new holes in the boards to attach them to the mounts. The problem is that there will be excessive overhang of the board beyond the rear mount. If you use the rear of the board to gain access to the front of the bed, it won’t have enough support and will bend. Probably won’t last too long.

Do you have a 5.5' or 6.5' box? if the 6.5' and you get the donor boards from a SCREW with the 5.5' bed, I think that would work, they have the same wheelbase... But those are just my thoughts... I can check for you tomorrow, My dad has his factory SCREW boards in his garage cause he got the Amp's... I'll hold one up and see how it looks tomorrow when I go over there.

IMO, it doesn't appear to be worth it. They don't give you that much more of a step, and the rear mounting bracket would have to be relocated. But here's the pics and I'll let you decide.
I don't think it'd be enough to be a step to get into the front of the bed, and it doesn't go all the way to the rear wheel, so I think once mounted it would look odd.
Tried to show the difference of where the two brackets are. Top left corner is the back end of the back mount on my truck.
ETA - Both my truck, and my dad's that the other boards came from are 18's, but I don't think it would make any difference.
